MEET ANDREA
I was born with a strong intuition, highly attuned to the needs of others and would describe myself as an empath. It was this characteristic that led me to my passion for self-care and healthy boundaries so that I could nurture and expand my gift of helping others but make sure to honor myself in the process.
I began my undergraduate degree with a major in business administration, but quickly pivoted away from that goal once I took an accounting class and hated it. I fell in love with counseling in my Psychology 101 course in the Spring of 2005 and have been fascinated by the topic ever since. My journey has taken me from the suburbs of New York to rural New Mexico to finally settle in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. My family and I have lived here since 2014.
Over the past few years, I have been on a journey of personal growth, which has involved shifting my priorities and connecting deeply to the things I find most important. I have pursued spiritual growth, personal counseling and a deeper connection to my friends, family and community. I am a perennial student and love learning. My free time is often spent outdoors, paddleboarding in the summer and skiing in the winter. I am an avid reader and a not-so-great knitter. My husband and I share two beautiful kids. My own personal experience gives me additional insight into the stresses and joys of a long-term committed relationship and family life.
My passion is to help people come back to themselves. To come home to yourself.
